Nicci Nice Shoes…
My Singapore nickname. I quite like it and yes I hold my hands up and I am happy to shout out to the world, I am a shoe addict!
I’m not quite sure when the love of shoes began but I do remember tottering around in my mum’s heels when I was little so I reckon it’s all her fault, and now I seem to be a collector. There are shoes I haven’t worn or some I have only worn once and there are of course my staples which I just couldn’t be without. My shoe collection by the age of 25 was well into the hundreds.
Then came Carrie Bradshaw donning that beautiful bright red sole courtesy of Christian Louboutin. I am sure the mannequins used to wink at me in shop windows to come in and buy a pair from the latest collection. There is not much more to say about this as my Loubi collection has grown rather extensively and I continue to add to it, well they are investments right?!
Shoes are an important accessory to completing that gorgeous outfit, especially heels as they add an element of glamour and provide confidence. They can instantly transform a look whilst adding height if you are vertically challenged like me.
I have quite enjoyed taking pictures of some of my shoe collection, I say some because if I had included pictures of all of them you would still be reading this post at Christmas. I am extremely grateful for my collection but feel slightly concerned as my London apartment is not exactly equipped for housing hundreds of shoes.
Shoes transform your body language and attitude. They lift you physically and emotionally
I have been known to buy the same shoe in different colours, I have also stood in stores and marvelled at the collections for rather a long time, but if you do it long enough in some stores you end up with champagne. These clever so and so’s, the bubbles come out and so does my wallet!
But if you ask me what my favourite pair are, well here you go, they need no further introduction…
Do you have a shoe collection you are proud of? I would love to see or hear about your favourite pairs!
So hey you, yes you..I want to thank you for reading my post. Whether you’ve stuck around since the beginning of my journey or whether you’re new to my blog, thank you for reading and supporting. I genuinely appreciate it.
