I love a rooftop bar!

As much as I go from wanting to have a glass of wine in a local pub, sometimes it just doesn’t cut it and I need a bit of glamour. Or maybe I just want a front row seat to city views of London.

Either way, there’s something about rooftop bars which fill me with inspiration, I am still enamoured and nowhere has yet topped my favourite, Ce La Vi in Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. I talked about it here last year. So of course realising there was a rooftop bar on my doorstep, spanning three floors with killer panoramic views of London and beyond, you can imagine I was more than delighted.

Let me introduce you to Bokan, situated proudly at the top of the Novotel Hotel, Canary Wharf.

The interior is swanky, beautifully and spaciously designed. Sultry copper tones throughout make it an ideal location for business meetings, catch ups with friends, a quick drink after work and even that special date night.

It really is a sight for sore eyes and a hidden gem in Canary Wharf, although not for long as it is increasing in popularity and most of my friends and colleagues are heading there by the day.

This is one place that doesn’t need much in the way of words, the pictures speak for themselves. There are various seating areas so you can take in whichever view you fancy.

Tips:

Before you go make sure there are no private parties scheduled so you can make full use of all bars and make sure you take your camera, these are views you won’t want to miss snapping!

Do you know of any other awesome London rooftop bars to try? Please let me know I would love to hear about them.
