Something doesn’t feel right.

It’s one of those days where something feels off, like I’m a little unsettled? The minute I woke I felt it, maybe I had a bad dream that I can’t remember (don’t you hate that!) or I’m psychic (I wish) and something is on it’s way…Do you ever feel like this? Is it just me? How to counter-act it? My immediate #1 go-to remedy for most things is to think of three things I’m grateful for. Gratitude is what brings more in to your life, it improves self-esteem and mental health. Let’s turn this day around!

My three things:

1. Friends support

It’s like having a catalogue of awesome choices. There is always someone who checks in with you, someone who chases you because they haven’t heard from you, someone you know you can call about anything, at any time. I’m so lucky and grateful for this because there are some people who don’t have that good natured and supportive network, those who only want the best for you and will take any opportunity to uplift you.

2. My blog

Whilst it’s my passion, lifeline and business it is also my voice. Take for example this morning, I needed to discuss how I felt and what better way than to have my own channel to be able to tell you guys?

3. The cup of coffee I just made

Mmmm the coffee bean scent, it’s like a big hug! How is it that coffee almost provides a cosy aurora? It’s only 11:30am so until this afternoon when it is more acceptable to have a glass of wine, I am relying on this to help provide that calming and soothing feeling.

Just a short one today, I felt it may help if I shared how I was feeling and put my feelings of gratitude out there.

  1. There’s nothing quite like the smell of coffee to invigorate the senses and make life seem that bit sweeter! Sadly I don’t cope well with the levels of caffeine in coffee, so I’ll be sticking to my wine in the afternoon. Lovely blog and lovely writing! xx
