Welcome to the weekend!

And the best part, we still have one more day to go.

No matter how old you are the weekend is something every single person looks forward to. Two days away from school, the office, the routine to do just whatever you want with. Time to reconnect with friends and family, catch up on some sleep or recharge. Whatever the reason we all love it!

One of my favourite ways to spend the weekend, especially after a gruelling killer of a spin class is to immerse myself in a limitless brunch.

Reception, Big Easy Canary Wharf

In the heart of Canary Wharf occupying the top floor of Crossrail Place is 11,000 sq ft of heaven. It’s where you will find Big Easy so picture this…an easy going vibe, friendly and attentive staff with a chilled atmosphere, the smell of chargrilled, barbecued meats and humungous, juicy plates of food you get in the States. Yup, this is exactly what you get at Big Easy.

They are across 3 locations in London: Canary Wharf, Kings Road and Covent Garden.

Big Easy Balcony Seating, Canary Wharf

Not only do they offer one hell of a brunch, they also offer awesome daily specials for no more than £24.50.

Whilst I am definitely up for a good feed at lunch in the week, it is always rushed. There is limited time to eat as we are all checking work emails and keeping an eye on the time.

Brunch on the other hand is a leisurely affair, it means you really can slip in to a food coma without worrying about being on form for the next meeting (if you just want to roll yourself outta there onto the sofa at home you can!), it’s acceptable to drink as much of the unlimited Prosecco as possible and it’s never rushed.

Brunch, for me, is an extended breakfast that should be enjoyed whenever you have time properly to engage in cooking and eating

The lobster meat is chunky and juicy. It’s messy but hey who cares it’s the weekend!

Either option is plentiful and it certainly fills you up for the rest of the day so make sure you go hungry. It was a perfect choice post spin class, all I wanted to do was eat! The staff are attentive, keeping your glasses and plates filled.

I definitely recommend Big Easy if you are looking for weekend brunch options.

Do you have any awesome boozy brunch locations to share? I am on the hunt for the next one!
