“Never, never, never give up.”

One of Winston Churchill’s famous quotes. I’m slightly obsessed with the guy, not necessarily for his political beliefs but for the way he maximised his life.

Not only was he a politician, he was a painter, an author, a horse rider, even a builder! His life was filled with ambition, goals, success and one hell of a vision.

He wasn’t afraid to be who he wanted to be and everything he wanted to do, he did. This injects me with colossal inspiration. I am inspired to push for my dreams, to achieve the things I want to do and to succeed in all I want.

So when I heard about The Churchill Bar in London my curiosity knew no bounds. Just off busy Oxford Street in the Hyatt Regent hotel is a glamorous bar and terrace which gives you a glimpse into the kind of life he lived.

I am easily satisfied with the very best

Out on the winter-themed terrace, you are surrounded by memorabilia and yes it’s cold outside but fear not, there are fur lined seats, rugs, heaters and even hot water bottles!

There is a huge range of cocktails, teas and bites to cater for all palates and it’s a winner for drinks with your loved one or a get together with the girls.

The Blenheim Fizz is a celebration of Winston’s family home which is now a heritage site (my next location to visit). The Limoncello foam and basil garnish add an extra topping of glamour.

It’s nearly Christmas so it would be poor form not to sip a Mulled wine wrapped up in toastie layers.

If you’re looking for something a little bit different I highly recommend visiting!

What locations do you have on your list to visit this winter? I would love to hear about them in the comments below!
