Things That Piss Me Off

Do you ever find yourself having a lovely day, enjoying the moment and then boom, something happens which gets your goat? That super annoying factor.

There are things which certainly frustrate me as I am sure there are for you too. Like politicians (why do they never answer a question properly?!) or people who walk really slowly (often watching Netflix on their phones!). These are examples of things which in my mind, are accepted as being a bit annoying versus the things which really do piss me off.

When people step into the lift, know you are fast approaching yet they press the close door button. Arggh! Why?!

The ones who take every opportunity to turn a conversation to them and happily big themselves up, telling you how amazing they are and why. For ages.

Commuters who refuse to move to let you off at your stop. Chill guys we are all trying to get to work and maybe you might have some more space if you allow people to leave.

Now, this seriously annoys me. Many people/bloggers/influencers are reliant upon followers for sponsorship and to further their businesses. Gaining followers should be a proud feeling that people are interested in your content and like your style. But following only to gain followers then later unfollowing is immature and selfish. Please stop doing it.

Ever been totally committed to watching a film, devoted through all the twists and turns then it suddenly ends with zero explanation, no conclusion, leaving you wondering what the hell happened and how you will never get those two hours back?!

Airpods are the way forward. Fact. Nothing more to say.

Ok, the chicken is great but really, if I have to get my own cutlery, sauce and napkins I’ll eat at home thanks! I enjoy dining out so I can smugly take a seat and let lovely people look after me for an hour.

Ever been at work and get a random IM just saying “Hi.” Then you have to say hi back for them to continue the conversation?  Annoying. By all means, say hi but please continue with the rest of your conversation, it would be super helpful.

I have been a casualty of this recently and whilst at the time it’s uncomfortable and disheartening it saddens me that someone, anyone thinks that it is actually acceptable to treat another human being with cruelty and insensitivity.  Rest assured if you have been a victim of this, it says more about them than it does about you. Stay strong and remember, you’re awesome.

Ok, rant over. I feel so much better now!

What things piss you off?!
I would love to hear what’s on your list!

HATE films that end on a weird ending with no answer. I mean some are okay if you’re left to wonder, but a few I’ve watched recently just made no sense. I also find it annoying when people make a conversation entirely about them. Like any experience you discuss or moment, they instantly jump in and make their story sound even greater or more shocking. One girl I use to work with did this, not on a random basis but at every possibility. xx

Right?! It’s those that just end without a point! It makes me so cross! And the girl you used to work with….I know someone who is exactly the same and it’s so frustrating! I’m happy for them if they are so great but the effort they make to make it all about them to dominate the conversation really does annoy me! Xxxxx

Totally agree on Nandos, cannot understand the hype!

Honestly though, my list is too large….. but generally it’s people. I sound such a misanthrope although I must admit I do prefer our furry four legged friends sometimes, especially to talk to, such good listeners and they never answer back.

    YouTube fake positivity voices….

Also driving. This list could go on….
